Busy weekend in Melacca

Melacca is a little city 2 hours from KL, Built by the Chinese
and use to be the main port in Malaysia... a long time ago.

Wandering in the old town centre.

A spice Mill, here they're doing some curry powder.

The famous Malaysian Trishaw's.

Night market full of touristy crap for Koreans and Singaporeans.

The house/shop of a local artist.

Black and White pathetic experiments

Malaysian Wedding

As we passed by a Malaysian wedding around Kampung Morten,
The bride and groom invited us to join them. We couldn't
possiblymiss such a great opportunity: lots of food,
drinks (sadly non-alcoholic), music and so on.

My crew for the weekend.

The bride, groom and an uncle.

Indian Procession

The following day, we woke up around 6pm to check out
an Indian procession celebrating, that will remain a mystery...
Let's just say that we saw a lot of people very happy,
praying, chanting and smashing coconuts on the ground.

The beginning of the ceremony outside of the temple.

Offerings of all sorts.

It suppose to bring peace and luck or
something like that.
It was great,
they were really going for it!

The start of the walk 'til the other temple
(which we never reached...
it was breakfast time for Ch.. sake!
)
