Hutiao Xia: Tiger Leaping Gorge

A legend gave the name to the highest and deepest gorge in China with its 5000m high summits and the Yangzi river reaching 196m deep. The legend says that a tiger jumped across the gorge to escape a hunter. I'd say the guy made it all up, been to drunk to catch the tiger, but that's only my opinion.
Anyway for anybody who like hiking its probably the most stunning chinese 2 to 3 days trek - at a chinese pace, narrowed down to 8 hours furious hike by my Quebec fellow hiking partner and myself. A belgium couple tagged along half way and we finish the trek together resting for the night at Sean's guesthouse, a very friendly tibetan guy and not an irish one as the name might suggest...
