aSong of the day: Around the world by Senior coconut.
Up at 5am to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat? WHAT ARE YOU,NUTS?
That was the old me, the cynical close minded me. The new me renamed "Indiana Gaby" for the day thought it was a deadly idea. Well, wasn't bad, but still: 5 o'clock jesus!
Anyway, the view was quiet breathtaking and the whole rest of the day, 13 very long and hot hours where full of surprises. Some would tell you that when you've seen one Khmer temple you've seen it all; well, it's true. Still you paid the fee (about a week of drink and food), so you visit. And surprisingly, they're not all that similar and you feel yourself discovering your inner explorer side, climbing rocks and steep stairways and taking 2000 pictures of engraved stones. In the end of the day all you want more from Angkor is the beer: Angkor, my country, my beer. It's not a tagline line, it's a way of living!
